Dead Man

Objective Review: There are many scenes that are key moments in the film Dead Man, the most important scene in my opinion is when William and Nobody go to the trading post. Before the two enter the trading post they are talking about the new gun William has, William says "I took it off of a dead white man" to which Nobody asks "Did William Blake kill the dead white man?" William admits to killing the white man. This part is important because we see just how much William Blake has changed from the beginning of the film. He is more like Nobody than he is how he was at the beginning of the film. Later in the scene when Nobody and William Blake are in the trading post the tradesman asks for William Blake's autograph to which William Blake stabs him in the hand and says "There's my autograph", the tradesman then says "God damn your soul to the fires of hell" to which William blake responds "he already has" and proceeds to shoot him a

Identity Thief

Objective Review: This movie had many big scenes that captured the main message of the film. The first is at the timestamp 1:25:02 to 1:28:23. This is when Sandy and Diana are at a fancy dinner. Sandy thanks Diana for teaching him about "getting what you want and you taught me about confidence. People have been hard on me my whole life and I don't want to feel like a chump anymore, and you showed me that"(Gordon, 2013). Even though Diana completely messed up his life she also helped him find a better version of himself. After Sandy thanks Diana he asks her who she actually is, but he still thinks she is lying to him. After a while of Sandy pushing her for an answer, she answers that she doesn't know her actual name. She explains that she was abandoned as a baby at a fire station and after growing up in multiple different foster homes she had been given at least six different names, so she truly does not know who she is. This scene helps the audience better understand

Kitchen Stories Film Review 6/6

Objective Review:  There were a lot of key moments within this movie, the main being at the timestamp 44:39 - 46:36. This is when Green comes and wakes Folke Nisson late at night claiming that he and Thor, his host, are in a pinch because they have run out of booze. Green asks if Folke would be willing to lend some booze to Thor and him. Folke tells Green that drinking with their host is against the rules and that he should not be drinking with Thor. This sets Green off, Green goes on a rant saying "Not allowed to drink, not allowed to talk, shit, Folke, What the hell are we doing? We sit up there on our pedestals and think we understand everything. How can we think we can understand anything about people simply by observing them?" Folke rebuttals this by explaining that observing is the nature of their research, which only angers Green more resulting in Green yelling "We have to talk to each other, people have to communicate!" Green is still very adamant about get
